Sound Engineer

A self-taught dancer who specializes in popping and locking, Omar Kadir has opened and performed with many notable artists, including Souls of Mischief, KRS-One and Andre Nikatina. While touring with nationwide competitions of the underground b-boy scene as a member of Flex Flav, he made his way into the 50 dancers on Season II of Fox Broadcasting Company's, So You Think You Can Dance, during which he performed at the Kodak Theatre.

Omar creates, records and mixes his own music, as well as plans and choreographs his own performances. His greatest passion is the stage, where he excites both fans and mainstream audiences with his "underground-flavored" combination of heart-pounding music and urban-dance performances.

In addition to serving as the sound engineer for NuBiAh, Omar is focusing on expanding his music career as an R&B-inspired hip hop artist. He continues to move forward with the release of his latest single and music video, "I Need Her," featuring Jinny from D.B.S.

Omar has been the subject of discussion on several Bay Area blogs, such as Claycord.com. His music can be heard on various Internet-radio stations, including UnheardRadio.com and DLXRadio.com. And he made number seven on Urban Clear Channel radio station's list of Top 20 Unsigned Artists.
