Director, Producer
Michelle Colston-Smith is a professional stage manager and award-winning playwright. She has produced and managed several plays and showcases, including A Man That Finds A Wife Finds A Good Thing, Christine's Colored Girls, The Trials Of One Short-Sighted Black Woman, Joe Louis Blues, Blues for an Alabama Sky, the Lula Washington Dance Theatre Benefit and a Celebrity Roast and Toast honoring Nichelle Nichols, Ruth Dee and Ben Vereen. She also has worked on tributes to the Lion King and Grandpa's Truth and is proud to have written, produced and directed her first play But He Fine.

Michelle worked with producer/writer/director Shá Givens on the gospel play Through The Storm. She also worked on 'Side To Side' One Woman Show, Wednesday Support and The Journey Of The Drums (written and directed by Michelle's mentor, Kim Harrington), to name a few.
As a writer and producer, her credits include Beyond The Rainbow, Keeping Up With The Jones, A Mask Without A Master, Who Hears the Cries of Our Children? and Mother's Day. The latter two plays were given awards by the National Association of Dramatic Speech Arts.
Michelle has also been a contributing writer for Gloria Bradley's Relationships magazine, through which she became known statewide for her popular article "Single, Saved and Pregnant."
Michelle has an associate of applied science degree in psychology, with a minor in theatre arts. She is truly dedicated to her craft, and it shows in her work. Be on the look out for her other gospel play Sex, Marriage and Revenge.
Currently, she is producing and directing the stage play musical NuBiAh, written by Tommy Jones. Michelle is also the stage manager for an upcoming Christian play Real Love. Her main goal is to humbly bring glory to the name of her Lord and God, Jesus Christ!
As a member of Peace Chapel Church, Michelle is thankful for the leadership of Pastor DeAntwan Fitts, who believes in her vision and is willing to nurture it for the Kingdom of God.
