The Griot
Christopher Brian Holland was born and raised in Washington, DC, but his ancestors hail from the Caribbean islands (Trinidad and Tobago). He moved to Los Angeles to study dance and trained under some of the best names in the business: Debbie Allen, Vitaly Artiushkin, Ava Bernstine, Terry Beeman, Nzingha Camara, Tessandra Chavez and Tyce, to name a few.
Chris has studied a wide variety of dance styles, including African, ballet, Dunham, flamenco, hip-hop, jazz, modern and musical theatre. Some of the productions he has performed in are Asian Piece; Universal Circus; I'll Be There; Playboy Jazz Festival; Michael Jackson Tribute at the Emmy Premiere; Drums; Love; Oman Oman; and Brothers of the Knight, directed by Debbie Allen. He has also performed in several music videos: "Obama Rock," "You and Me," and "I Wanna Rock,"

Chris is also interested in modeling and acting. He knows he has much to offer and believes these are fields he can excel in. Chris is working, growing and learning new things every day, and he looks forward to working, growing and learning new things with you! | |
