La Desha Smith is a Los Angeles native. She attended Alexander Hamilton High, graduated in 1997, then studied education for two years at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. She works for the Los Angeles Unified School District, where she has been employed for the past seven years. La Desha is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Tommy Jones and Michelle Colston-Smith on NuBiAh, an inspiring play for our youth community.
